Ayaka’s Visit to Victoria, Canada
I arrived in Victoria on July 20th.
I was very nervous then because I couldn’t speak English very well and I had never gone abroad before.
When I was going to my host family’s house, they asked me a lot of questions but I couldn’t understand anything.
So I was really sorry for them.. On the way we went to McDonald’s and Hillside Mall. I had a little jet lag then so I felt sick. I went to bed soon.
On July 23rd I went to school for the first time. I did the level test and I entered the intermediate class. That class was difficult for me so I studied very hard. I made a lot of friends! My best friends were Ko & Miki! We always went shopping downtown so I spent a lot of money. I spent 30 000 yen in a week.
On July 26th we had a soccer festival at Vic High School.
It was very hot but we enjoyed playing soccer.
August 17th was my graduation. I was really sad and cried a lot. I took pictures of a lot of friends. I think my host family was very kind and a very good family. I was glad to see them. I want to see my host family and go back to Victoria again so I'm making a big effort to master English now!!
